Annette studied for her Bachelor of Education at the University of Cambridge, specialising in Geography. After teaching at North Bridge House in Hampstead, Annette moved to Thomas’s Clapham in 1995, becoming Head of Lower School the following year. Annette is the founding Head of Thomas’s Fulham, which opened in 2005. She holds a postgraduate certificate in specific learning difficulties. Annette is a governor of Lambrook School in Berkshire, serving on the Board and Education Committee.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Education awarded by the University of Exeter, specialising in Secondary Physical Education, later completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Senior Leadership. He began teaching at Rosemead Preparatory School in Dulwich as Head of PE. In 2001, he joined the PE Department at Thomas’s Clapham before moving to Thomas’s Fulham in its founding year, 2005, as Deputy Head. He is Senior Deputy Head at Thomas’s Fulham and, since 2016, Head of Thomas’s Outdoors and Thomas’s Daheim, overseeing the school’s outdoor education provision and its residential centre in Austria. Paul is an inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate.

Susannah was awarded her Bachelor of Education (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University, specialising in Art. She began her career at Eaton Square School, where she spent four years teaching Years 3 and 4. Susannah joined St Nicholas Preparatory School in 2002, teaching Years 5 and 6 and was Head of PSHE for two of those years. In 2008, Susannah moved to Thomas’s Fulham; there, she established the school’s first Year 5 class before being appointed Curriculum Deputy Head in 2010. Now a Senior Deputy Head, she provides academic leadership across the school, overseeing internal monitoring and evaluation systems and managing the Future Schools process for senior school transitions.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Exeter, specialising in Secondary Physical Education. He began his career at Bishopsford Secondary School in Morden, where he had several key roles, including Head of PE, Head of Year 11 and School Sports Co-ordinator for the Merton Primary School network. In 2011, Lee joined Thomas’s Fulham as Head of Boys’ Games before transitioning into senior leadership. He serves as the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead, as well as Welfare and Healthy and Safety Lead. His passion for sport remains; he teaches some PE, is a Level 2 qualified cricket coach and an ECB umpire.

A graduate of the University of York (BA Hons) and York St John (PGCE), Miranda began her teaching career at Devonshire House Prep School in Hampstead. She then moved to Australia, teaching at an independent girls’ school in Melbourne. Miranda joined Thomas’s Fulham in 2022 and oversees the daily running of the Prep School, leads the English department, and serves as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. Deeply rooted in the world of books through her family’s background in publishing, Miranda is an advocate for children’s literature and its power to inspire young minds.

Charlotte studied Psychology at the University of Portsmouth, where she also completed her PGCE. She began her career at Southsea Infant School before transitioning to London, serving as Head of Early Years at Earlsfield Primary. Joining Thomas’s Fulham in 2012, Charlotte taught Reception for nine years prior to her full time appointment as Head of Lower School. In her current capacity, Charlotte oversees the daily running of the Lower School and serves as a Deputy Safeguarding Lead. Outside of her professional commitments, she remains a dedicated advocate for the ‘magic of play,’ a passion she now shares at home with her daughter.

Lizzy graduated from York St John University in Physical Education before gaining her PGCE from the University of Cumbria. She began her teaching career in York before pursuing international experience at The English Academy in Kuwait and St Paul’s School in Brazil. Returning to the UK, Lizzy joined Thomas’s Fulham in 2019, where she works as a Year 5 class teacher. Alongside her classroom role, she also oversees the school’s SMSC (Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural) provision and supports the school’s graduate programme, mentoring and developing early career teachers.

Sarah was awarded a BEd (Hons), specialising in Geography, from the University of Exeter. She began her career in Greenwich, then moved to Tower Hamlets, where she worked for 13 years as a class teacher before becoming SENCo, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Assistant Head. In 2012, Sarah completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). She joined Thomas’s Fulham in 2013 as a specialist teacher and has been Head of Learning Support and Enrichment from 2016. In her role, Sarah is responsible for implementing the school’s SEND policy, identifying pupils with special educational needs, and working closely with teachers, parents and external agencies.

Claire studied French and Spanish at the University of Leeds before completing her PGCE at the University of Exeter. She taught for 12 years in the UK and then internationally, first at Dulwich College, Suzhou, China and then Singapore. She joined Thomas’s Fulham as a Year 5 class teacher and English Lead. Her current responsibilities involve championing a focus on metacognition. She oversees curriculum planning, supporting school-wide monitoring and evaluation, as well as overseeing professional development. As the Outcomes and Progress Lead, she is responsible for ensuring the rigorous assessment of the curriculum’s impact, teaching standards and overall pupil progress.
